On November 17, 2011 the Executive Board met with management and Stu brought up the issue of submitting accident/incident reports within 24 hours. Stu stated our members are being harassed into preparing the accident/incident report at the scene even though the Operator Information Manual (last paragraph page 39 of the 2011 edition) states they have 24 hours to submit the forms.

The result of this conversation is Charles Stolte (Manager of Transit) directed Ron Gabruck (director of Safety and Security) to comply with the 24 hour language in the Operator Manual.

Operators have 24 hours to submit an accident/incident report unless members of the Edmonton Police Service request it. The report must be completed in this case.
